Day 1. Arrive Cochin
Our representative will greet you at the Cochin airport and assist you to the hotel. After spending some time in rest you can visit the popular spice market of Cochin filled with numerous exotic spices such as cloves, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, pepper and more. You can even take some spices home as souvenirs. Return to the hotel in evening for overnight stay.
Day 2. Cochin – Alleppey(Riceboat)
Today you will be driven to Alleppey to experience the backwaters of Kerala. In Alleppey you will embark the traditional houseboat which will be a magical experience as you cruise through the backwaters zooming through the breathtaking beauty of the place. Relish your meals onboard and stay overnight in the floating villa.
Day 3. Alleppey – Teekoy
Disembark your boat in the morning to move forward in your journey where your next destination is Teekoy which is a plantation town. In the evening you can go on a trek through the rubber plantations of the town. On arrival you will be transferred to a hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4. Teekoy
After having some authentic South Indian breakfast you will set out to explore the spice plantations of cardamom, pepper, cashews, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, turmeric and more. As the place gets rainfall almost all round the year, the place gets misty and the scenes are breathtaking. The delightful scenes, lovely weather and pleasant aroma will make you fall in love with this place. Overnight stay in Teekoy.
Day 5. Teekoy – Munnar
Later you will depart for the hill station of Munnar where on arrival you will be transferred to an idyllic hill resort for overnight stay. The evening is at your leisure for independent activities. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 6. Munnar
You will be delighted to experience the aromatic atmosphere and cool environment of Munnar. The lush green valleys and tea and coffee plantations with favorable climate made this place an attractive resort since the time of Britishers. Munnar Tea museum, Eravikulam National Park, Hydel Park, Anamudi hills, etc are major places of interest in the town which you will explore.
Day 7. Munnar – Athirapally
This morning you will be driven you to Athirapally, situated in Thrissur district of Kerala. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel where you can enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 8. Athirapally
In the morning set off early after breakfast for a drive into the reserve forests and spot wildlife. Later visit the enchanting Athirapally Falls which can be reached through the lush green trees, winding roads and small villages. The scenic beauty of the place will leave you mesmerized.
Day 9. Athirapally – Wayanad
Today you will proceed to lush green hills of Wayanad, known for its wildlife and spice plantations. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel and the rest of the say is at your disposal. Relax in the surreal surrounding, away from the hustle bustle of the cities. Overnight in Wayanad.
Day 10. Wayanad
Rise early for a short trek to Chembura Peak. Return to hotel for breakfast and again leave the hotel to explore the town. Visit the expansive coffee and tea plantations along with the admirable hills of Western Ghats and the pre-historic Edkkal Caves. After full day sightseeing tour return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11. Wayanad – Tellicherry
From Wayanad you will be driven to heritage city of Tellicherry which was the first settlement of British in Kerala and one of the most popular European trading centers of the state. On arrival in the city you will be transferred to a hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12. Tellicherry
Tellicherry is popular for its colonial settlements and old fashioned fishing markets. Explore the mesmerizing palm fringed coastline of the town and enjoy the picturesque view. Later you will visit the historically crucial Tellicherry fortress overlooking the sea with imposing structure and intricately carved huge doors. In the evening enjoy watching the popular dance form of Tellicherry – Kalaraiyapattu which will leave you in awe. Overnight in Tellicherry.
Day 13. Tellicherry – Nileshwar
This morning you will be driven to Nileshwar which is referred to as Cultural capital of North Malabar. It is a major town in Kasargod district of Kerala state and is situated between two rivers. On arrival you will be dropped at the hotel for a comfortable two days’ stay. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14, 15, & 16 Nileshwar
Being a beach and backwater destination, your stay in Nileshwar will be a delightful experience. The extensive backwater stretch offers the travelers exclusive houseboat cruises for day and even overnight which is quite a unique experience. The idyllic beaches of Nileshwar provide a calming and soothing experience. The place offers more than just natural beauty as it celebrates folk arts and temple festivals. Day 17. Nileshwar – Cochin
Today you will be driven to Cochin, a major port city of southern India. After spending some time in rest you can visit the popular spice market of Cochin filled with numerous exotic spices such as cloves, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, pepper and more. You can even take some spices home as souvenirs. Return to the hotel in evening for overnight stay.
Day 18. Cochin
After breakfast head to explore Cochin also referred as Queen of Arabian Sea. The city houses one of the finest harbors which even attracted the colonists and it was one of the first sites to be colonized. Take a guided tour of the city and visit the historic Fort Kochi, the Mattancherry Palace, Paradesi synagogue, St. Francis Church and see authentic Chinese Fishing nets- all these places hold immense historical wealth which you will discover. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 19. Cochin – Departure
On this day you will be dropped at the airport on time from where you’ll board your onward destination flight.
