Day 1. Arrive at Delhi
The journey in India will commence with your arrival at Delhi International Airport. Our agent will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for a comfortable stay in Delhi.
Day 2. Delhi
Delhi, the heart of India is a mandatory visit in the India tour. Starting from the Old Delhi, you will visit the formidable Red Fort and get the feel of Mughal architecture, the famous mosque – Jama Masjid and the bustling Chandni Chowk; here you will get an opportunity to have a glance of the Indian local markets. You will also explore the towering Qutub Minar built in red sandstone and carved with verses of Quran, spectacular Bahai Temple built in the shape of Lotus and other notable sites of the city. Return to the hotel in the evening, relax and enjoy a comfortable sleep followed by dinner.
Day 3. Delhi –Jaipur
This morning you will be driven to one of the most tourist favored cities of India- Jaipur. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel and after spending few hours of rest leave your hotel to visit mesmerizing city of Jaipur. The historical Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and City Palace are major tourist attractions of the city. You will be delighted to witness the striking, spectacular architecture and remarkable history of these monuments. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4. Jaipur - Agra
On this day you will be driven to the Taj city - Agra. You will be transferred to the hotel on arrival and after freshening up you can take a rickshaw ride to the vibrant local markets, which is altogether a unique experience. From here proceed to get the enchanting sight of the iconic Taj Mahal which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This white wondrous monument is adorned with intricate inlaid colorful carvings and after that you will explore monuments like Agra Fort, Moti Masjid, Mehtab Bagh, Tomb of Itimad ud Daulah and more which depict glory of mighty Mughal era.
Day 5.Agra - Delhi – Trivandrum
Today leave towards Delhi after having your breakfast. On arrival you will be dropped at airport, from here you will board your flight to Trivandrum- the capital city of Kerala. Overnight stay at Trivandrum.
Day 6. Trivandrum
Trivandrum will be the first milestone of your journey in South India. Relish some local dishes in breakfast at your hotel and head towards visiting the major attractions of the city beginning with Padmanabhaswami Temple which houses 5000 year old idol of Lord Padmanabha. A spectacular specimen of typical Dravidian architecture the temple is enclosed in vast area with huge corridors and lofty pillars. The Napier Museum, Trivandrum Zoo and Light House Beach Kovalam are the other notable places. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7. Trivandrum - Cochin
This morning leave by road towards Cochin where on arrival our representative will help you check in your hotel room. After some rest enjoy your evening roaming around and understanding the lives of local people. You can even visit the nearby markets and discover the interesting places around. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8. Cochin
After breakfast head to explore Cochin also referred as Queen of Arabian Sea. The city houses one of the finest harbors which even attracted the colonists and it was one of the first sites to be colonized. Take a guided tour of the city and visit the historic Fort Kochi, the Mattancherry Palace, Paradesi synagogue, St. Francis Church and see authentic Chinese Fishing nets- all these places hold immense historical wealth which you will discover. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 9. Cochin - Kumarkom
On arrival you will be transported to your hotel. Kumarakom is a village nestled on Vemabanad Lake in the backwaters of Kerala. Here you will also get to see various exotic species of birds in the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary including Cuckoos and Siberian Storks. The lake is also abode of several migratory birds as well. Overnight in Kumarkom.
Day 10. Kumarkom– Alleppey
On the next day you will be transferred to an authentic houseboat in which you will cruise from Kumarkom to Alleypey zooming through the rustic life of the locals and observing the breathtaking beauty of the backwaters. The experience at the houseboat would surely be unique and unforgettable one. Your meals will be served onboard. Stay overnight in the floating villa.
Day 11. Alleppey – Trivandrum
Today leave Alleppey after breakfast to reach Trivandrum. On arrival check in to your hotel and relax. The remaining day is free for you to explore the city on your own. Stroll through the markets and buy some souvenirs for your loved ones. Overnight stay in Trivandrum.
Day 12 . Trivandrum – Delhi (Departure)
This day you will leave for Delhi from where you will board your flight to next destination
