Day 1. Arrive at Kolkata
The textile tour of India will commence with your arrival at Kolkata. Our representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel for a comforting overnight stay.
Day 2. Kolkata
Savor delicious breakfast at the hotel and proceed for sightseeing in Kolkata. The city houses some fabulous pieces of colonial architecture like Fort William and the iconic Howrah Bridge. The other places of interest are Jawahar Shishu Bhawan, Indian museum, Kalighat Kali Temple and Nakhoda Mosque. After the sightseeing tour, get back to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 4. Bhubaneshwar - Sambhalpur
Today after having breakfast at the hotel you will leave for Sambhalpur. While driving to Sambhalpur you will visit the textile village enroute - Nuapatna. You will see a different way of weaving in the handlooms of Nuapatna where people have been in involved in weaving since generations. Later resume your drive to Sambhalpur where on arrival you will be transferred to the hotel for unwinding. The world famous Sambhalpuri textiles have their origin from this city and Sambhalpuri sarees with intricate prints are popular attire of Indian women which you must also take home as a souvenir. Afterwards visit the popular tourist attractions of the town like the Huma temple, Hirakund dam and the Ushakothi wildlife sanctuary. Overnight stay in Sambhalpur.
Day 5. Sambhalpur - Boudh
Post breakfast visit the weaver's villages to know how Sambhalpuri sarees are made with double side 'ikat' designs beautifully woven in multicolored threads. Later you will be driven to Boudh - town famous for its silk sarees. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel where after resting for few hours you will be taken to explore the textile market adorned with beautiful cotton tie and dye sarees, Bomkai silk sarees and silk tie and die sarees. Day 6. Boudh - Bissam Cuttack
This morning you will be driven to Bissam Cuttack. Enroute to Bissam Cuttack you will visit the weaver's villages of Phulbani and Kutia Kondh villages and experience the vibes of rural India. Later resume your drive to Bissam Cuttack where you will be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7. Bissam Cuttack - Jeypore
This morning you will be driven straight to one of the Dongeria Kondh villages. The area is inhabited by tribals and you will witness their innovative art and handloom textiles here. Enjoy trekking in the rustic surroundings and visit Chatikona to explore their weekly market held on every Wednesday. In the evening you will be driven to Jeypore where on arrival you will be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8. Jeypore
Today post breakfast you will be exploring Jeypore and will get a chance to have a peek into the living style of the tribes.
