Day 1. Arrive Mumbai – Baroda
Your Journey will commence from the city of dreams –Mumbai. On arrival in the city you will be transferred to the hotel where you can spend the afternoon in rest. In the evening explore the mumbai city
Day 2. Baroda – Ahmedabad
In the morning set out to explore Baroda, popular for its art galleries and museums which will acquaint you to the culture and history of the city. The Laxmi Vilas Palace built in Indo Sarcenic style is a treat to eyes. The century old Baroda Museum and picture gallery displays Middle Eastern and Asian paintings and sculptures. The Nazarbaugh Palace and Hazira Maqbara are other pieces of art housing the city. in the evening you will be driven to Ahemdabad where you’ll stay overnight.
Day 3. Ahmedabad – Lothal – Palitana
This morning you will be exploring the popular city of Gujarat. Visit the iconic 15th century Jama Mosque built by sultan Ahmed Shah I and the Sidi Syyed Mosque famed for its latticework. The Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum displays a major collection on ancient Indian art. Later you will proceed to Lothal, an important town in terms of Indian history. The place bears evidences of one of the most important and oldest civilizations in the world. This place will acquaint you with the ancient Indian history. In the evening you will be driven to Palitana.
Day 4. Palitana – Diu
On this day you will be driven to Palitana known for its artistic Jaina Temples. The places have a hill which houses over 900 temples dedicated to Jaina deities. The temples are exquisitely carved in marble and ornate architectural motifs display high skills of craftsmanship. After exploring Palitana you will be driven to Diu, a tiny coastal town. As the place was earlier occupied by Portuguese it houses some spectacular Portuguese sites like the St. Paul’s Church and the Diu Fort. In the evening take a walk down the pristine beaches of Diu. Later return to Palitana for overnight stay.
Day 5. Palitana – Somnath – Gir
Today from Palitana you will be driven to the medieval town of Somnath. The place is of great religious significance for Hindus. The Somnath Temple houses one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva which is really auspicious. In the evening you will be driven to Gir where on arrival you will be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6. Gir – Junagarh – Gondal
Get ready to get a glimpse of the mighty Lions in the Jungle safari of Gir National Park. Enjoy sighting the wild in their natural routing through the jeep safari. After the wildlife safari you will be driven to Junagarh- an erstwhile royal kingdom. The place is home forta and palaces like the Junagarh Fort which have been home to the royal family. The Girnal Hills, edicts of Ashoka and Mohbbat Maqbara are other places that you will explore. From here you will be driven to Gondal after sightseeing. Overnight stay in Gondal.
Day 7. Gondal – Dasada
This morning explore Gondal where you’ll be visiting places like the Naulakha Palace famous for its fine carvings. The 17th century palace is a treat to eyes with its jharokhas and finely carved arches. The other notable places of the town are the Riverside Palace, Huzoor Palace and the Orchard Palace. Later in the evening you will be driven to Dassada where you will be staying overnight.
Day 8. Dasada – Modhera – Patan – Balaram
Rise early and set out to explore the deserts of Gujarat. Explore the wild and the ways of life of the local people in the Rann of Kutch which is a popular tourist destination. Dasada is also a favored place for ornithologists and there are several bird watching sites around the area. Many birds flock here in winters and it becomes heaven for birdwatchers. Later you will be driven to Modhera and Patan to explore the ancient stepwell and 11th century monuments respectively. For overnight stay you will be driven to Balram.
Day 9. Balaram – Taranga – Vadnagar – Ahmedabad
Today you will be exploring the mansions of Balaram and the erstwhile princely state of Palanpur. Later you will be driven to historical places of Taranga and Vadnagar housing ancient buildings and monuments. People relish visiting at these places to have a wonderful experience. In the evening you will be driven to Ahmedabad.
Day 10. Ahmedabad – Departure
Today after sumptuous breakfast you will be driven to Airport in time for your departure.
