Day 1: Arrive Bangalore
Our representative will greet you at the Bangalore airport and assist you to the hotel. Relax and unwind in your comfortable hotel room for few hours before proceeding for sightseeing. In the evening you will seek blessings at the sprawling ISKON temple and take a ride through the local markets exploring the city. Return to the hotel in evening for overnight stay.
Day 2: Bangalore – Hassan
Explore the other highlights of the Bangalore city today starting from the Lal bagh, a wonderful botanical garden. The Nandi temple, St. Mary’s Basilica, Gavi Gangadhareshwar temple- an example of Indian rock cut architecture and opulent Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace are few of the other notable attractions of the city. Later in the evening you will be driven to Hassan where you will stay overnight.
Day 3: Hassan
Being the seat of former Hoysala dynasty, Hassan displays some remarkable pieces of Hoysala architecture. The intricately carved temples at Belur and Halebidu are important evidences of the past. The Chennakeshva Temple, Hoysaleshwara Temple, Manjarabad Fort, Kedareshwara Temple and the Chandragiri Hills are the notable places attracting several art enthusiasts. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Hassan – Mysore
From Hassan you will be driven to Mysore via Shravanbelagola visiting the statue of Gomateshwar. On arrival in Mysore, unwind and stay at hotel in afternoon. In the evening you will visit the Nandi Temple and the Chamundi Hills. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5: Mysore
Today you will explore the seat of erstwhile Wodeyar dynasty which was an important kingdom in the South Indian history. The gilded Mysore Palace showcasing a blend of Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles of architecture will leave you short of words. Another Wodeyar structure the Jagmohan Palace, the neo-gothic style St. Philomena’s church and the 12th century Chamundeshwari Temple are highlights of the city. Overnight stay in Mysore.
Day 6: Mysore – Kabini
After some sumptuous South Indian breakfast you will be driven to Kabini. Popular for its wildlife sanctuary, Kabini was once a hunting ground of the Britishers. On arrival you will be transferred to a jungle resort for your two nights stay. In the evening spend some time game viewing on the banks of Kabini River.
Day 7: Kabini
Have breakfast and proceed for safari in the wildlife sanctuary which a must see for all nature lovers as it offers a gorgeous vacation amidst greenery and waterfalls. Spend entire day in jungle activities spotting animals like tiger, elephants, spotted deer, jungle fowl, sambhar deer, panther and many more. Retire to the hotel in evening for overnight stay.
Day 8: Kabini – Wayanad
Today you will proceed to lush green hills of Wayanad, known for its wildlife and spice plantations. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel and the rest of the say is at your disposal. Relax in the surreal surrounding, away from the hustle bustle of the cities. Overnight in Wayanad.
Day 9: Wayanad
Rise early for a short trek to Chembura peak. Return to hotel for breakfast and again leave the hotel to explore the town. Visit the expansive coffee and tea plantations along with the admirable hills of Western Ghats and the pre-historic Edkkal Caves. After full day sightseeing tour return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10: Wayanad – Cochin
Today you will be driven to Cochin, a major port city of southern India. After spending some time in rest you can visit the popular spice market of Cochin filled with numerous exotic spices such as cloves, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, pepper and more. You can even take some spices home as souvenirs. Return to the hotel in evening for overnight stay.
Day 11: Cochin
After breakfast head to explore Cochin also referred as Queen of Arabian Sea. The city houses one of the finest harbors which even attracted the colonists and it was one of the first sites to be colonized. Take a guided tour of the city and visit the historic Fort Kochi, the Mattancherry Palace, Paradesi synagogue, St. Francis Church and see authentic Chinese Fishing nets- all these places hold immense historical wealth which you will discover. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12: Cochin – Kumarakom
From Cochin after breakfast, you will be driven to Kumarakom- a gorgeous village nestled on the Lake Vembanad. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel where rest of the day is your leisure. Spend your day relaxing in the lap of nature. Overnight in Kumarakom
Day 13: Kumarakom – Alleppey (Riceboat)
Today after breakfast you will explore the village and visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is home to over 200 exotic species of birds including Cuckoos and Siberian storks. The Bay island driftwood museum which displays wooden sculptures is also a popular attraction of the city. Later you will be driven to Alleppey to experience the backwaters of Kerala. In Alleppey you will embark the traditional houseboat which will be a magical experience. Relish your meals onboard and stay overnight in the floating villa.
Day 14: Alleppey – Kovalam
Zooming through the rustic life of the locals and observing the breathtaking beauty of the backwaters in the houseboat you will reach Kovalam. The experience at the houseboat would surely be unique and unforgettable one. Disembark your boat in Kovalam and explore the beach town. Enjoy walk along the shores in the evening and later retire to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 15: Kovalam
Today explore the pristine palm –backed beaches of the coastal town like the Hawa Beach and Samudra beach. This location is ideal for a hydrophilic person as it is surrounded by water bodies; the other being Vellayani Lake, Lighthouse beach, Chowara Beach, etc. You can even explore the corals offshore in Kovalam. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 16: Kovalam – Trivendrum – Departure
Today you will be driven to Trivendrum where you will be directly taken to visit the city attractions like the revered Padmanabhanswamy Temple- a monumental Hindu shrine, Napier Museum, Attukal Temple and more. After the sightseeing you will be dropped at the airport for your onward destination flight.
